SEEKING POLES AND ESPECIALLY RAILROAD TIES!
I have exciting news! Due to a group of local volunteers and money donated earlier by Down East Community Hospital, the Machias Chamber will be installing the SKATING RINK again this winter. It will be located at South Side Ball Field parking lot. We are seeking railroad ties, utility poles and telephone poles, to help anchor the frame. If you have ties or a pole to donate, just give us a call 255.4402 or email sharon@machiaschamber.org. Also, please let us know if you can help on installation day (TBA) once the new liner is delivered. Thanks so much!
