We are cancelling the Winter Weekend due to a lack of snow….See you
all next year!
MACHIAS WINTER WEEKEND – Cancelled- See you next year! Due to a lack of snow, expected rain on Thursday, and the fact that the entire place will empty out for the Machias Memorial High School state basketball championship in Augusta, all Winter Weekend events at Middle River Park are moved to
March 7.

Sledding, tubing, cardboard sled races, snowshoeing, bonfire, hot dogs and
s’mores, winter safety tips, hot cocoa and mulled cider.
A collaboration
between Downeast Coastal Conservancy, Machias Bay Chamber of Commerce
and the University of Maine at Machias recreation programs.
